Sure. PBX stands for “Private Branch Exchange”, and generally refers to the hardware that handles your phone service. In the old days, this meant the banks of wires in a closet somewhere. Today, a cloud-based hosted PBX handles all the hardware virtually. The hardware is ours, and you receive the service (and it’s the best service.)
VOIP is “Voice Over Internet Protocol”, and refers to making calls over the internet instead of the old phone lines.
The “Cloud” really means it’s a computer/server elsewhere. When people say “I’m storing something in the cloud”, they really mean it’s on another computer (and usually multiple computers) in another location. So “Cloud Phone Service” means we host the PBX hardware referred to above, and use VOIP as the means to get there.
